We have published part of this work in the leading robotics Journal “Soft Robotics”. research article is titled “Action augmentation of tactile perception for soft-body palpation”. In this work we delve further into the complex realm of physical medical examination. We use a robotic platform and a mathematical framework to both understand, and employ, complex palpation strategies, to achieve appropriate sensory perception for robotic medical diagnosis.
