Little over 6 months ago I was defending my Doctoral Thesis in Robotics and AI at the University of Cambridge. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to research in this marvellous place, where time seems to have stopped since its foundation. Today I move on from my current position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and I want to thank the (current and past) members of the “Bio-Inspired Robotics Laboratory”, as well as my PhD supervisor Fumiya Iida, and Prof Perla Maiolino which have made my time here very special.

I am excited to be joining the research team in Naver Labs for the next 6 months, to research core issues in AI, including the problem of bias and how to learn generalizable representations.

In September I will start as a Research Fellow at Harvard University, where I will use AI to advance Cancer research. I am looking forward to have the possibility to contribute to one of the toughest battles of our times.
